Who is responsible
This website is run by Dr Prasad Bhukebag, who practises at Precision Surgery Centre, 1201, Manisha Corporate Park 3, MG Road, Mulund West, Mumbai 400080. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act), Dr Prasad Bhukebag is the Data Fiduciary responsible for personal data collected through this website.
Information you choose to share
This website does not ask you to submit medical information through an online form. If you contact the clinic by telephone or WhatsApp, the information you choose to provide may be used to respond to your enquiry or arrange an appointment.
Clinical information
Please do not send medical records, photographs, scans or other confidential health information through WhatsApp. Bring relevant records to your consultation or ask the clinic for an appropriate method of sharing them.
Website analytics and cookies
This website uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, so the information can be kept clear and useful. It does not use advertising cookies or track when you call or message the clinic.
Google Analytics sets cookies and records general information such as your device type, approximate location and the pages you view, but not your name or medical details. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Legal basis
- Telephone and WhatsApp enquiries: the information you voluntarily provide so that the clinic can respond and arrange an appointment (section 7 of the DPDP Act).
How long information is kept
Website analytics data is kept for the retention period set in this website’s Google Analytics account and is then deleted automatically.
Enquiry messages are kept only for as long as they are needed to respond to you and arrange care, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may:
- ask for a summary of the personal data held about you and how it is used (section 11);
- ask for your personal data to be corrected, completed, updated or erased (section 12);
- withdraw any consent you have given (section 6);
- nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or are unable to do so (section 14);
- raise a grievance, and if it is not resolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India (section 13).
